Polish chemical industry's foreign trade deficit widens by 6.9% to USD 2.8 bln in H1 2002
Warsaw. December 6. INTERFAX-EUROPE - The Polish heavy chemical industry's foreign trade deficit widened by 6.9% to USD 2.85 bln in the first half of 2002, according to figures released by the Economy Ministry on Friday.
The share of the deficit in Poland's total foreign trade deficit increased by 3.8 points to 41.8% in H1 2002.
Chemical exports rose by 2.6% whereas imports rose by 5.3% in the first half of 2002. Chemical exports account for 9.7% of Polish exports while imports ...
